I've built the December 2025 MBR deck: `output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx`.

The script printed: *"December 2025 deck: 6 slides, 71 figures, every one from a source. Wrote output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx and output/deck.json"*. It passed on the first run.

The bullets I wrote (`output/slide-map.json`):
- **Headline:** operating income was $8K against a $13K budget, a variance of ($5K), because gross profit was ($5K) under budget. Revenue was $827K, $3K above budget but ($72K) down on November. Gross margin was 26.1% against a 26.8% budget. Year to date, revenue is $11.2M against $11.6M and operating income is $388K against $583K.
- **Drivers:** three bullets cover the month: other operating at ($6K), cost of goods sold at ($6K), and technology at $4K, which made up part of the overspend. The fourth covers the year-to-date revenue variance of ($362K).
- **Watch list:** the four off-target KPIs. Days sales outstanding and on-time delivery have been off target for 3 months, active customers for 2, and inventory turns for 1.

**Decision for you:** gross margin has a different benchmark on two slides. Slide 3 (P&L) shows 26.1% against a 26.8% budget, a variance of (0.7). Slide 4 (KPI scorecard) shows the same 26.1% as "on target" against a 26.0% target. Both numbers come straight from the source files; the KPI target and the P&L budget are set separately. Neither file says why they differ, so I left both as they are. Someone who reads both slides will ask why the same margin is under budget but on target. You can either add a note explaining the two benchmarks or confirm the 26.0% KPI target is right before the deck goes out.
