The deck is built: `output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx`

The build script printed: *December 2025 deck: 6 slides, 63 figures, every one from a source. Wrote output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx and output/deck.json*

The six slides are the title, Headline, P&L vs budget, KPI scorecard, Drivers and Watch list. All figures are copied from `output/scorecard.json` and `output/mbr.json`. The slide content I wrote is in `output/slide-map.json`, so you can change the wording there and rebuild.

**Check before Monday: the two source files disagree on gross margin.**
- **P&L vs budget slide:** gross margin is 26.1% against a budget of 26.8%, a variance of (0.7), so it's below budget.
- **KPI scorecard slide:** gross margin is 26.1% against a target of 26.0%, so it shows "on target."

The 26.0% scorecard target probably comes from the KPI targets file, and the 26.8% from the P&L budget. Even so, the room will see "below budget" and "on target" for the same measure. I haven't changed either figure. Please confirm which number is the right comparison, or fix it in the source and rebuild.

**What the deck says:**
- **Revenue:** $827K for the month, $3K over budget but down ($72K) from November.
- **Operating income:** $8K, missing budget by ($5K).
- **Year to date:** revenue is ($362K) under budget.
- **KPIs:** 4 of 8 are off target. Days sales outstanding and on-time delivery percent have each missed for 3 months.
