I scored all four FY2025 versions (Budget, 3+9, 6+6 and 9+3) against the actual P&L. The short answer for the CFO is that the outlooks ran high on revenue all year, and only 9+3 was close.

- **Revenue:** Budget over-forecast the year by $362K, or 3.2%. 3+9 and 6+6 were off by $177K, or 1.6%, and $158K, or 1.4%. 9+3 was off by only $3K, or 0.02%, with a MAPE (typical monthly miss) of 0.63%.
- **Operating expenses:** every version landed within $14K of the $2.5M actual. 9+3 had the lowest MAPE at 0.30%.
- **Why 9+3 looks best:** it had only three months left to forecast. Its accuracy mostly reflects that short horizon, not better forecasting.
- **Large single misses:** Budget missed 2025-07 revenue by $132K, or 15.0%. 6+6 missed 2025-09 revenue by $151K, or 15.0%. The data doesn't show why, so the question for planning is what each forecast assumed for those months.

The script confirmed that the closed months in each version tie to the P&L and that Budget equals the P&L budget.
