I wrote the FY2025 budget-versus-actual commentary to `output/bva-note.md`. The script's figures are in `output/bva.json`, and its reconciliation checks passed.

**Headline:** FY2025 revenue was $11.2M against a $11.6M budget, unfavourable by ($362K), or (3.1%). Operating income was $388K against $583K, unfavourable by ($195K), or (33.5%).

**Drivers in the note:**
- **Revenue:** the miss came mainly in 2025-03 at ($123K), 2025-07 at ($132K) and 2025-08 at ($105K).
- **Cost of goods sold:** favourable by $196K, with the peak of $215K in 2025-08, the same month revenue missed. The data doesn't show whether that is lower volume or lower unit cost, so the note asks the COGS owner.
- **Freight out and Salaries and wages:** unfavourable by ($29K) and ($38K), and both were at their peak in 2025-12.
- **Professional fees:** the variance reversed, from a peak of ($31K) in 2025-03 to ($1K) by year end.

The note also covers December 2025, where revenue was $827K against $824K and operating income was $8K against $13K. It ends with the data line: pnl_fy2025.csv, 120 rows, sha256 `eaa52ac89e97`.
