I've built the December 2025 MBR deck at `output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx`. The build script printed:

> December 2025 deck: 6 slides, 60 figures, every one from a source. Wrote output/IS_MBR_2025-12.pptx and output/deck.json

The deck is built from `output/slide-map.json`, which I wrote. It also produced `output/deck.json`. The slides are the house set of six: title, Headline, P&L vs budget, KPI scorecard, Drivers and Watch list.

**Slides I wrote the wording for:**
- **Headline:** Operating income was $8K against a $13K budget, a variance of ($5K). Revenue of $827K beat budget by $3K but fell ($72K) from November. Year to date, operating income is ($195K) below budget. Four of the eight KPIs are off target, and Days sales outstanding and On-time delivery percent have each missed for 3 months.
- **Drivers:** Each of the three month variances gets a bullet: Other operating ($6K), Cost of goods sold ($6K) and Technology $4K. The fourth bullet is the year-to-date Revenue variance of ($362K).
- **Watch list:** All four off-target KPIs, with their streaks of 3, 3, 2 and 1 months.

**Before this goes out:** gross margin shows two different comparisons in the deck. The P&L slide has 26.1% against a 26.8% budget, a variance of (0.7). The KPI scorecard has 26.1% against a 26.0% target, marked "on target". Both come from the source files. The scorecard says Revenue's target is the budget, but it doesn't say where the Gross margin percent target comes from. Check that the 26.0% target is meant to differ from budget, or readers will see a margin that is both on target and below budget.
